Barbados

Barbados is located in the West Indies and is home to many wonderful and diverse beaches. This teardrop shaped island is only 14 miles long by 21 miles wide but within such a small space there is much to see and do. The Barbadian shores are almost entirely encircled with coral reefs and formations. and which provides a healthy environment for marine life. All sides of the island are surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and have different characteristics which gives this beautiful island more interest and appeal.

The West Coast is often referred to as the 'platinum Coast' with the palm trees swaying on the white sandy shores whilst the clear, warm waters lap gently onto the golden sands. Heading South you have the flawless, sandy beaches with beautiful coral reefs and more lively surf. Moving towards the East coast the wide and wind blown shores are pounded by the Atlantic waves which crash along the shore and which has a rugged beauty about it. Moving towards the North coast you are met with the most breathtaking views and the massive waves crash mercilessly against the sandstone cliffs.
