Corfu
Corfu is considered by many to be one of the most interesting and beautiful islands in Greece. It incorporates a combination of picturesque mountain villages, green vegetation and continuous coastline with beaches scattered all around.
This island is unique in that it is far greener than any of the other Greek islands, which tend to be more rocky and barren. It boasts over 6,000 species of herbs and flowers some of which are only native to Corfu and has over 4,000 olive trees.
The beautifully preserved old town of Corfu is a unesco world heritage site and its multi-cultural heritage can be seen in the wonderful buildings and monuments. This stunning town is both intriguing and mysterious with its cobbled streets, secluded passageways and numerous restaurants and tavernas.
Corfu is both sublime and compelling with its stunning landscape, clear waters and rich heritage. It is a place of sheer beauty too good to be missed.
